Bio

Hello! My name is Patricia and I am currently a second year Epidemiology MPH student at CU Anschutz.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Boston University and spent some time working at a fungal immunology lab at Massachusetts General Hospital right up until moving to Colorado for graduate school. I’ve always been fascinated by immunology and by translating what happens at the cellular level to patterns we may observe at the population level. My current research in Stephen’s lab focuses on within-host fungal kinetics in susceptible populations, with the goal of understanding how processes within an individual can shape broader patterns of disease.

In my free time, I love cooking, yoga, traveling, and pottery!
